Messianic Theology Congregation

Messianic Jewish theology is the study of God and Scripture from the eyes of Messianic Judaism which is considered as a legitimate form of Judaism but is considered as Christianity. Theology tells us that the Jews were the first Christians and they grouped themselves into Messianic congregations which was even before churches were formed as a place of worship. Messianic Jewish Theology is the learning about Jews in the messianic times, their forms of representation of Yeshua (Jesus) and the principles they followed.

These Jews now live in a Christian orthodoxy, and the Bible tells us from the book of Acts that Jews are recorded as thousands coming together with the concept of faith in the Messiah and this forms the Messianic Theology congregation and they are growing worldwide as the Jews and other divisions of Christianity come together as simply Christians.

There has always been issues with the Christians and the Jews in forming themselves as a group as they thought that Jews couldn’t become Christians and disputes in sharing the church aroused. The Messianic congregation helps the Jew affirm his or her Jewish identity concurrently with an affirmation of his or her trust in Messiah Jesus. Because the term Christian traditionally means Gentile – Not Jew, some Jewish believers in Jesus will go so far as to say, “I’m not a Christian; I’m a Messianic Jew,” even though the terms essentially refer to the same faith in Jesus as Savior. A phenomenon is that Jewish believers prefer to use the word “Messiah” and not “Christ”. Such discrepancies between the Jews and the Christians is what prohibited them from forming a united Messianic Jewish Congregation.

Theologically Judaism, Messianic Judaism and Christianity can be split into three different parts in those times but practically in this era everything is in a one big bundle of spiritual teaching called Christianity. “Torah” being the first five books of the Bible is considered as the holy book of the Messianic Jews which is in Hebrew. The Torah also emphasizes on non-kosher foods such as shellfish and pork to be avoided and a strict Sabbath on Friday and Saturday evenings. Some additional doctrines of Messianic Judaism is sin and atonement, faith and salvation. Messianic believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone which is a common practice of salvation in the Christian orthodoxy and is followed spiritually across the globe.
